Just Married (Part 1)

The Cake topper

If you know me you would know that I have been with my Boo for eight and half years. Why so long you ask? Well I was just so nervous about.. The wedding. Will my family be compatible with my wifes family? Will my finger even look good with a ring on it? Along with other dumb questions that don’t matter. I still believe that people should be with a significant other about four or so years before marriage after all marriage is forever, what’s a few years.

Above Boo and I at Watkins Glen NY. I would later Propose that day.

At my wedding wacky wild adventures were mentioned several times. In the eight years i have been with boo. I have been to ten countries, half the states in the union, survived a pandemic, ate many dinners, taken thousands of photos and watched countless movies (she slept through most). A large part of my life was spent with Boo. at the moment I sit in a room surrounded by photos of our adventures and……….foodie pic’s soo so many Foodie pics.

Now that we are married a new chapter begins. (hopefully with Mini-Boos. yes, mom I can hear you through the computer) What boo and I accomplished so far has been amazing. I can’t wait to see what we do with the rest of our lives.

Our Trip to Houston (base of on of the Apollo rocket)

Looking forward to turning a chapter with my Boo…now with rings. Part Two will include Photos of the Wedding when I get them. Despite being the center of the wedding…. I don’t have a single photo, only what others have sent me. I look forward to my photographer getting back to me.

The Wedding Itself and random other stuff

At mens Warehouse Testing our Tuxedos

After, looking at a lot of photos I noticed that there was a lot of photos where the groom looks nearly the same as the groomsmen and since my brothers were gonna be groomsmen things were gonna get confusing real quick. so opted for the black sheep approach where the I the groom will look significantly better than the groomsmen by wearing cufflinks, red bow tie and the inverse color scheme of my bros and bros in laws.

We went with the candlewood inn because….look at that lake its amazing. Water has always been a theme in our relationship. Half of our good photos always seem to have water in the background weather it be oceans, waterfalls or rivers etc. I like being near the water. Also, being a venue has its perks like I don’t need to clean up after the catering, landscaping, furniture is already sorted out and above all the experienced staff to keep everything moving. The venue was defiantly worth the trip

Wedding Pre-Game

Having everyone home for the wedding was one of the most positive unforeseen aspects of having a wedding. Many rounds of asteroids, guitar jam sessions, bike rides, ping pong and Settlers of Catan were played. Along with the relentless amounts of baked goods that I am still trying to undo at the gym. Catan was played to an overwhelming degree there was no true champion as the winner alternated between everyone. There was also Mike’s Graduation party that went great.
