In order to determine you “do not have time” you need to start with something important. Where are you losing all of your time. What projects take the longest? What things can you avoid?
I am always in this boat. There are so many events that I want to go to but cant seem to fit them in. I dont think it is a time problem. It is a wasted time problem. For some reason our brains push things that we should do back. At least for me, my brain prefers to do things that have short-term gratification, as opposed to long-term.
How can you stop this type of thinking? Planning, putting it on the calendar is key. Read at 19:30 for one hour, that is it. You are done. A time slot is key. I have issues doing this, especially when it comes to school.
I feel like I am a better all or nothing person. Do 6 classes and be a fulltime student, rather than doing 2 classes and putting it off to the side. I will get better, it has been a while. It is not that the classes are hard, its that they are too easy…. I do good with little effort.
