The purpose of working is to obtain enough money to not work. Maybe you find a job you like and stay a few years extra, but for me, it is all about obtaining financial freedom…. from working…. You work so that you don’t need to work.
Every dollar counts until you reach that point. I do not spend too much money in the grand scheme of things. I save roughly 65% of every paycheck. I have very minor costs in general. Food, the occasional beer, a coffee and gas. That is life in a nutshell for me.
“Keep it simple” was a piece of art that was hung up in the kitchen of my house growing up. That is what I intend to do. I limit myself to a few different subject matters and become an expert in those fields. hopefully I will find my niche and advance on it. My mother has her wood business, my dad has his flying and will have ——— Something.
I want to be able to do what I want when I want. That is the goal. Just travel, while collecting dividends, that is what it is all about. Whether it is rental properties, stocks and even a small business. I want to be free mother fucker!!!! I will not work to gain power in a some corporation. I will work to sustain myself……..
The set up is: work a part-time job to pass the time, collect a fat dividend from properties and investments, and have a passion job like a farm or something. I will have a farm of some sort. Work to be able to not work. Then let your passions take over.
